Suitable for - Participants who have already completed Introduction to Jewellery Making (Beginners) or have prior knowledge of Jewellery Making.
This 6 week intermediate jewellery course has been designed as a progressive step for students who have completed the introductory jewellery class or have some prior skills and jewellery making experience. Participants will continue to build on their jewellery making skills and gain additional experience in a range of processes; including chain making and linking techniques, soldering, forming and cold joining methods. Students will design and make a more complex neck piece of their choice that incorporates these new skills and techniques.Price of course includes the material fee of $25
In addition, students are required to purchase their own silver for the projects and your tutor will provide you with the necessary details and information on how to do so. Other affordable options such as brass and copper are available should you choose not to work in silver.
Cancellation of courses
If a course is cancelled due to low enrollments or unforeseen circumstances, the program area will notify you and you will receive a full refund or transfer to another class. Please do not purchase equipment without confirmation that your class will go ahead.
If you choose to withdraw from a class you will not be entitled to a refund of your fees. TAFE SA cannot accept responsibility for changes to your work commitments or personal circumstances.
