How can technology make Melbourne more accessible for people who are blind or have low vision?
Running Times: 4.00pm - 5.30pm
Running Times are a guide only and are subject to change
Hosted in partnership with the Australian Braille Authority, this activity will give participants an introduction to braille, a copy of the braille alphabet, and the equipment to make sticky braille labels. Then, the group will embark on a walk around the MKW precinct, adding braille labels to the streetscape to assist visitors with vision impairments and send a positive message about accessibility and inclusion.
